Our Founders
My name is Omar Garcia.
I can now say with appreciation that growing up on the streets of Brooklyn, NY, was an important part of my life path and growth. There, I certainly made bad choices, but that’s how it is. If you hang around the barbershop long enough, you’re gonna get a hair cut.
Rough-edged and large-hearted, I am no longer controlled by the things that used to own me.
I am perfect, as we all are, and it is my embodied understanding of my perfection that has liberated me.
God doesn’t make imperfect things. We certainly pick up some junk along our life journey that isn’t useful, as I did. But I am a testament to the ability of humans to take healing into their own hands and in community and transcend the past.
The practices offered at Omziel Healing Sanctuary have helped me and help visitors to the sanctuary to this day. It is with a deep appreciation of my past and full confidence in our offerings that I welcome you to our loving, creative space.
My name is Aziel Carrero.
Born in the country of the Dominican Republic, and relocating to the US has given me a broad perspective on what we all take for granted and the deep understanding of people's true needs. Being the only girl among my siblings and coming from a very large and close family has given me insights on the male and female energies from a very young age. Now having two children of my own, I really get to see and experience up close the Divine order of things.
Trained in different healing modalities, I have helped numerous souls heal on deep levels. Often we hold the key to our own prison. Here at The Omziel Healing Sanctuary, we only help to show people that key using real instruments of awareness. We are all a work in progress, clay in the Masters hands. We need only to be open to that fact.
I like to think of myself as a humble servant to humanity and the world at large. And as I help to heal the world, I also ultimately heal myself.
